Other Troubleshooting Options
1. Update Keyboard
If you’ve reset your Logitech keyboard and you’re still having issues with it, there could be a bug in the software that’s causing it to malfunction. You’ll need to go to Logitech’s support page and select the keyboard you’re having problems with on the list. If you don’t know your model or you can’t tell which one your keyboard is from the pictures, then you’ll need to look at the label on the bottom of your keyboard to find out the model number next to the M/N label. After selecting your keyboard, click on Downloads and select your OS from the dropdown menu to check if there’s a software update available. If there isn’t one, then it means that your keyboard isn’t having difficulties because of issues with its software.
2. Change Batteries
If you’re having problems with your keyboard, rather than resetting it, you can change the batteries to get rid of the problem. Some Logitech models have batteries that store power from the solar panel just like the k750. You’ll first need to check the battery status to confirm that it has a charge. If it does have a charge, diagnose the battery to check if it’s damaged or its lifespan is affected. If it’s bad, you’ll need to replace the Logitech batteries.
3. Plug Keyboard Directly Into PC’s USB Port
If the keyboard you’re using requires an adapter, you can plug it into a different USB port. Logitech USB receivers don’t work as well when plugged into external devices so make sure that you plug it into your computer directly and not into a USB hub for example.
4. Remove Other Wireless Devices
If there are other wireless devices next to your keyboard, then you need to remove them as they can interfere with the functionality of the keyboard. Things like speakers, monitors, and phones can cause the keyboard to lose signal which can stop it from working. If you’ve tried resetting the keyboard but nothing works, then try this.
5. Contact Logitech
You can contact Logitech about your problem through support on their website. You just need to select your keyboard from the list, then there’s a box that’ll allow you to describe the problem that you having. Just go in-depth on your issue and the company will contact you back with the best solutions.
6. Replace Logitech Keyboard
7. Uninstall and Reinstall the Logitech Drivers
If you’re using a Logitech keyboard, then you’ll have Logitec drivers that’ll help the keyboard to function. If these drivers are out of date or corrupted, they won’t respond the way you want them to which is why you’re trying to reset them. So you’ll need to reinstall the drivers in the devices manager.
8. Connect it to Another PC
If your keyboard isn’t working properly right now, you can see if the problem is with your computer. If it’s not compatible with your computer, connect it to another computer and see if it works properly.
